Segunda Quimbamba is thrilled to announce that we will be a host organization for Dance/USA’s Archiving and Preservation Fellowship Program for 2023! The prestigious national dance organization will award 4 fellowships to work with various dance organizations in summer 2023, and Segunda Quimbamba Folkloric Center is one of the 4 organizations chosen.
Dance/USA is accepting applications for the 2023 Archiving and Preservation Fellowship Program. Master’s degree students in library and information sciences and related fields and emerging archivists with relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Fellows will have the opportunity to work with Segunda Quimbamba, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, or JazzAntiqua, Jennifer Harge/Harge Dance Stories. Each Fellow will receive a stipend of $10,000.
